Dear Alumni and friends of U.C College,

Greetings from Union Christian College!

I took charge as the Principal in April 2005, and it is my pleasure and privilege to accept and acknowledge the team work and contributions of the Association of U.C College Alumni and Friends. Over the years, UCC has been successful in maintaining the intimacy between staff and students. An Alumni Development Office (ADO) has been opened in the college recently. Under the initiative of Dr. K.C Chacko, we are also proceeding with the proposals on an International House.

As you know, the college is always committed to supporting the formation of Alumni chapters in various parts of India and abroad. I am happy to inform you that the Governing Body of the College has recently formed an ad hoc committee for the Alumni chapters of Canada and US, and we would like to hear your comments and suggestions for the activities of the committee.

We are indeed inspired by the interest and enthusiasm shown by Dr. KC Chacko and Dr. Jacob Mathew, and the leadership given by Rev. Thomas John who has been an old student and a member of the UCC faculty for years. An important activity that is being revived now is the preparation of an alumni directory. Ms.Charlotte Erickson, a Young Adult Volunteer from the US, is helping with the ADO. You may register your names by filling in the form provided here. Let me also congratulate Mr. Jacob Mathew for his irresistible interest and efforts in mobilizing the alumni waves of the web.
