Dr. A. Sunny Kuriakose, Secretary of the Staff Association, began the Farewell Ceremony by welcoming present and retired teachers. Principal Dr. Raju K. John then spoke. He was followed by Mr. K.P. Unnikrishnan from the Chemistry Department, Mr. A.M. Geevarghese from the English Dept., Dr. A. Gopinatham from the Malayalam Dept., and Mr. James Jayaraj, who retired from the Economics Dept. Mr. James Jayaraj also gave a mouth organ recital. The retiring teachers each spoke briefly and Dr. Varghese John, English Dept., then thanked the gathering.
