01-01-2004 Along with the start of the year came the College Union Inauguration for 2003-2004. Dr. K.S. Radhakrishnan, from the Department of Philosophy at Maharajas College, Ernakulam, inaugurated the event. C.R. Neelakandan Namboolhiri, a well-known social activist and journalist, also spoke at the event to inaugurate the year's Arts Club. As part of the celebration, students from the Voice of U.C. performed film songs in the afternoon.
