19-02-2004 The Dr. M.V. Memorial Lecture took place this year on February 19, 2004 at 2:00 PM. Dr. M.V. Kurien was a former Head of the Department of Economics. The program opened with a silent prayer; this was followed by a Welcome by Dr. Rajan Varghese, the Principal's Address by Dr. Raju K. John, and a Memorial Reference by Dr. Issac Paul, Head of the Department of Economics. Mr. C.J. George, Managing Director at Geojith Securities, gave the keynote address. He spoke on "Commodities and Derivatives."
